Latina Lawyer Network
This Tuesday, the DHBA Latina Lawyer Network hosted its networking event of the year at the Dallas Office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Thank you to everyone that attended the event. Thank you to all of our DHBA members, the Dallas Bar Association, and other Allied Bar members who attended our Cinco de Mayo mixer this past Friday. This was a great opportunity to bring together the DFW law community to encourage more opportunities for collaboration and connection. DHBA at HNBA Conference
DHBA was represented and in attendance at the Hispanic National Bar Association - HNBA 2024 Corporate Counsel Conference that took place on March 20-22, 2024 in Seattle, WA. In attendance were DHBA President Edward J. Loya, Jr., Board Director Clarissa Benavides, and DHBA members Daniel Valenzuela and Michael Massiatte. Clarissa moderated the Friday CLE session on “Key Governance Considerations for Responsible AI.” The sessions discussed how to navigate the intricate landscape of AI governance, essential for harnessing AI’s power responsibly. #DallasHBA #HNBA #HNBAFamilia #CLE #CCC2024

2024 DHBA Swearing-In Ceremony
The Dallas Hispanic Bar Association would like to thank everyone who attended the 2024 Swearing-In Ceremony this past Wednesday, January 10th. We would like to welcome and thank our 2024 Board of Directors for their commitment to serve as leaders of the organization. We thank the U.S. Fifth Circuit Judge Irma Carrillo Ramirez for swearing in the Board. We thank the President-Elect of the State Bar of Texas, Stephen (Steve) Benesh, for his opening remarks.
