They came out with the mind set of making adjustments and playing with some real fire - They were a totally different team. "Miles may be new to the Bandits but he sure is making his impact felt! Batting lead off he has .389 avg with a .560 OBP…with 7 hits and 11 runs, drawing 7 BB! Not only is he getting it done on offense but his defense and pitching has been excellent throughout the season. Miles is a ball player, there’s no doubt about that” - Coach Boring

"Will took on a new position this season, a position that takes passion and a lot of work to master. He has been working on and off the field to perfect his craft. Will has not let a runner score from a past ball in 5 games.
If catching wasn’t a hard enough position, he has maintained the second highest batting average on the team throughout 9 games. Will is a leader for his team and it shows through his work ethic and determination. Thank you Will for all your hard work and dedication to this new position and this organization!" - Coach King

Jake Carvajal Posts Strong Outing - University of Northern Colorado Athletics GREELEY, Colo. – Jake Carvajal tossed 4.0 scoreless innings – the longest outing of his career – in UNC's 7-2 loss against St. Thomas at Jackson Field Sunday.

"The team was slow at the plate this weekend but still played great defense and pitched well enough to make it to the Championship game. In the championship the bats came alive. Scoring 12 runs on 13 hits to win the Championship game. One person who was NOT slow at bat was John; he was hitting the entire tournament. John hit .857 collecting 6 hits 4 rbis and 4 runs scored. I challenged John over the past week at practice to put the work in and stay confident and good things would happen and boy did he have a tournament! It was great to see him have a ton of success after some tough practices." - Coach Hardison
