We’ve received several calls and appointment requests from new and existing patients during our state mandated closure. So here’s some good news for patients that are needing to see us. In accordance with Governor Abbott’s Phase One plan, our office will begin seeing patients on Friday, May 1st. Our goal is to help our patients while keeping everyone safe and healthy during this time. We ask that you do not request for elective appointments such as, in-office teeth whitening, until further notice. If you need some kind of whitening and cannot wait until then, we have a couple of take-home teeth whitening options. Please inquire with our front office staff. Thank you and stay well!

Tips to make your child's dental visits a happy one: 1) Remain relaxed and calm; your feelings and emotions can project off onto your child 2) Show them videos or pictures of happy dental visits 3) Use rewards or prizes as incentives, but stick to your word 4) Do not hover over your child and try to let the doctor and assistants do the talking. This is very similar to swim lessons. Most kids do better when their parents are not in viewing sight. However, we do always welcome parents into the room for any procedure. :) Here, Dr. Nguyen is extracting his 6 year-old son's primary (baby) tooth. His son came in very nervous just like any child would be, and he left the chair smiling! :) The whole procedure took less than 5 minutes! #notears #happydentalvisits #HendersonFamilyDental
