Vetkoek is a fried dough that we usually eat with a curried ground beef or with butter.

melktert is a cinnamon milk tart in a pie shell.

koeksisters are fried dough dipped in a syrup.

Buskiet are rusks (a hard cookie) usually dipped in tea or coffee.

peppermint tart is caramel cream layered with peppermint, chocolate and coconut cookies.

malva pudding is a warm gooey cake pudding served with custard on top.

SA fudge is a sugary, caramely harder fudge that melts in your mouth!
