Our students had an amazing last day of our Read and Grow summer program! We said goodbye to summer with a field trip to Meow Wolf Grapevine🤩

We had an amazing time this weekend! We love our community and are so glad we had another chance to pass out essentials!🥰☺

Our end-of-summer concert was a resounding success, a testament to our students’ dedication and hard work. After three weeks of diligent practice, they performed all four songs flawlessly! 🎤😁
Adding a unique touch, they crafted their instruments from recycled materials, turning trash into a treasure of tunes. We were thrilled to see over 50 attendees, including families and ardent supporters of Heart House. 🥰🥲
A special thanks to the Nova Pangea artists, the City of Dallas Community Arts Pop-Up Cultural Center, Council Member Gay Donnell Willis Dallas City Council D13, Vickery Park Branch Library and Whole Foods Park Lane for their invaluable support. Here’s to the power of music and community!

Our 3rd-5th grade class loved this reading session with Color me SAFE! We are so happy to partner with organizations who care about our students just as much as we do! 🥰💝

Our students were so excited that Ruthie's Food Trucks was stopping by that they created their very own food trucks! After eating delicious grilled cheese's they got to show off their very detailed creations!

Our K-2nd class learned so much with North Texas Food Bank this past month! 😄 Along with fun food demonstrations our students learned about the different food groups and how eating healthy is fun and delicious! 🍎😋

Since the Spring our students have been singing and making melodies while learning about how music is always a safe space for their emotions!🎼🥰

We are so glad we got to meet all the other 2024 Social Impact Advisee organizations and we are honored to be apart of this very special group!

We are so excited to announce that we have been selected to receive pro-bono consulting from teams over at Social Venture Partners Dallas 🤩
Thank you so much for this opportunity, we cant wait for Spark Tank! ✨

Earlier this week we received 30 Hugs of Hope bags from Color me SAFE and Charities2Love
Our students were so excited to get their bag which contained a book, a plushie, a mindful toy, and of course a thoughtful note to inspire our them to keep going!

On the last day of Volunteer Appreciation Month, we want to extend our gratitude to the Heart House Board of Directors! These 15 individuals have shown incredible devotion to supporting Heart House in every way possible and we are so grateful for their unwavering commitment! Thank you for providing the foundation needed to serve our students! 🙌 ❤️
