I had a lady literally say “I ALWAYS have great desserts from Cake Daddy” but NEVER a 5 star review but the SECOND she get one thing she doesn’t like, here comes a negative review.

Now that I’ve slept on it…. I/we just wanted to thank you ALL again for your support!!

To be voted Dallas’ FAVORITE bakery is no small feat! We give ALL the glory to GOD!

Let me say this, y’all see the glitz, the glamour, the tv shows, the reality shows, the many appearances on the news and all but what y’all DON’T see is the early mornings, late nights where every part of your body aching because you’ve stood on your feet for almost all of 12 to 14 hours a day!!

It’s really tough. We miss the family reunions, birthday parties, funerals, etc because most times we work 7 days a week. Am I complaining? Heavens no but I am letting you know that being self employed is HARD WORK but I wouldn’t want to be doing ANYTHING else! We love making ALL of our customers happy with our cakes and other treats!

I’m just grateful that I get to share this with the love of my life Kellee Pruitt! Thank you babe for putting up with me (like I put up with you 😂❤️). Can’t end without thanking our team Alice Pruitt, Pat Madison, Auntie Gloria, Charlotte Randle and my brother from another mother, Gerald Porter (he’s the comedian that keeps us laughing)! There would be no us without y’all!

God bless you all and it was/is an honor to be named among so many great bakers and like I told someone last night, WE ALL WON! We are family! We’re all just doing our things to make it in this world.
