Karmin Lane is the owner and head charcuterie of Krafted By KC, a premier food catering company. It was created in 2021 after Karmin decided to leave the education profession, where she served as a teacher and administrator for 13 years. She is the mother to 4 amazing children ages 16, 11, 9 & 5 and the wife to Keldrick Lane (an entrepreneur himself). Her passions include her family, reading, hiking, and baking. She has been inspired by so many people throughout her life and is a firm believer of Romans 8:28. Her life has taken so many twists and turns and has brought her to exactly where God wants her to be in order to be a blessing in the lives of her family and others.

I was born in Silmar, California, and raised in Dallas ,Texas! I graduated college with an associates degree in Business administration and Paralegal! I am the CEO of La Nueva 106.5 FM, a hispanic radio station in Dallas, Tx. Also, I am a women empowerment coach in Mesquite, Tx. I love to inspire and empower women through wellness and spiritual guidance by focusing on 3 major things: The body, mind and soul! My purpose and passion is to impact more lives everyday, so that they not only find healing but also for their generations to find healing and be set free from past hurt!

A little background of myself is that I am currently in college at Texas A&M Commerce University as a senior in my last semester, pursuing to be a Licensed Therapist. I plan to open up my own private practice and help the majority of the minority group/community in receiving free mental health care. I also work at Basepoint Psychiatry & Wellness which is a private practice facility that specializes in adolescent mental health as a Discharge Coordinator and Program Specialist. I have worked with the age groups 12-18 (teens) for about five years. My goal in life and discovered is to inspire people/ teenagers as well by helping them know their purpose and identity. I'm a big advocate of mental health.

Our Story
Raising the Bridge serves at-risk youth ages 12-18 through support, mentoring, tools to enhance life skills and athletic programs.
Our passion and dedication at Raising The Bridge are focused on engaging with youth in a meaningful and lasting way as they enter middle school. The years that span both middle school and high school are imperative for positive impact on our youth. These are the times where young people will be faced with a myriad of choices that will impact the direction they take as they embark on adulthood.
The positive influence of a mentor, goal setting and a sense of community are key points that help build self-esteem and give youth valuable tools as they plan for their future.
