Country singer and PLATINUM songwriter. His first album, Tonight's On Me made international chart Bush in response to Jon’s song Fight For Freedom.
Jon’s dedication to “keeping it country” paid off him when his first album, Tonight's On Me, on the AMG Country label in Austin charted in Australia, Germany, and the Netherlands. His single from the debut album, Taste For Texas was in the top ten for four months on the Swingin' West radio show in Fairfield, CT. Host Mike Gross, an award winning DJ devoted to Western swing music, loved Taste For
Texas said it will continue in permanent rotation on the show. Jon’s most patriotic song, Fight For Freedom, was inspired by his love and support for family members serving in the military. It is dedicated to all who put their lives on the line in harm’s way in service to their country, now, and in generations past. He is often asked to perform at Memorial Day Veteran’s Day programs. He was invited to sing Fight For Freedom at opening day ceremonies for the Henderson County Veterans Memorial in Athens, Texas on Veterans Day, 2012. Among Jon’s treasured mementoes is 2006 hand-written letter from President George W. The President expressed his appreciation for Jon’s voice, his passion and his love for our country. More recently, Jon has opened for some of his country music heroes including the Gatlin Brothers, Charlie Daniels, Joe Diffie, Clint Black, Mel Tillis, John Conley and George Jones.
2014 is starting very well for Jon. His song, Cinderella Dream, with Jon doing the vocals, is in movie theaters on the sound tract of the film Red Wing, which was filmed in Whitewrite, Texas, and stars Luke Perry, Bill Paxton, Breann Johnson, and Frances Fisher.
