Congrats to Finley ( #5), Kaylynn ( #49), and Sofia ( #66) for being a part of this great list! Very proud of all of you and know that you aren’t satisfied either! Keep grinding, ladies!

Super proud of the 2027 Black team for their great showing at the 2022 PrimeTime Nationals! Played great in pool play, going 3-1 with some very convincing wins of 15+ points and finishing 2nd.

Went into bracket play and racked up another convincing win, this time by 38 points! Played a tough team out of Houston in the Sweet 16 to end the run, but getting to the final 16 is a great showing!

Their growth and continued commitment to getting better has been fun to watch and we can’t wait to see it continue. Very proud of all of you for a great weekend!!

What a run by these girls this weekend! 2022 PrimeTime Nationals 7th grade girls - 4th place

✅ Dominate pool play winning by 36, 25, and 51

✅ Win first bracket game by 23

✅ Play a very good Team Lex team and both teams leave it all on the court! Back and forth battle with ius winning by 1 in OT!

✅ Play a good True Texas Hoops team in semis and have another great back and forth game. Goes to OT again, with just 5 players left. One more fouls out and we play 4v5 for a minute. Then another and we are down 2 with 6.9 seconds and have to go length of court, 3 on 5! We get a great screen, and great pass, and a great drive and end up getting fouled on a layup, the ball just rolling of the rim. Make the 1st but miss the second and we end up falling by 1.

✅ Played another great Just Play Elite team and lost 3rd place gamy by 11.

The girls battled and battled and battled. They trusted each other, played for each other and looked beautiful doing it most of the time. The number of other coaches, high school coaches, other parents, and referees that commented on how well our girls played is a testament to the way they buy in. As great as this week was and as much growth as they showed, we know they all want more. And we can’t wait to see where that leads!!! On to OKC next weekend!!

Another good weekend for the 2027 Gray team! Played 8th grade in PrimeTime One Shining Moment tournament and went 3-1 and finished 2nd. Lost the championship game by 4, but it was a great learning experience to be in that fire! Proud of their continued growth and mentality!! On to the next one!

Congrats to the 2027 Black team on their 3rd place finish this weekend in the PrimeTime One Shining Moment tournament. Played great all weekend. Lost semi-final this morning to the eventual champ but came back to win the 3rd place game against Team Lex 52-47 and finished the weekend 4-1!! Great playing, ladies!!

Congrats to the 2027 Gray and Black teams on their PrimeTime championships this weekend! The Gray team played in the 8th grade division and went 4-0, while the Black team went 4-0 in the 6th/7th grade division. All of the girls continue to work hard and get better each time out!!

The 5th grade boys also did a great job kicking off their Spring season with 2 good wins!

All 3 teams featured some new/different roles for this weekend and every athlete took that challenge and ran with it! Couldn’t be more proud of or appreciative of their hard work and determination!

Proud of these girls this weekend for their growth and their fight! Both teams battled and are coming away better teams. The Black team (ironically in gray) went 1-3 but had possibly the performance of the weekend this morning coming back from a 15 pt halftime deficit to take a late lead vs Team Lex, but came up 2 points short in the end. Learned a lot about themselves. The Gray team (yes, in black) played solid ball and took big steps in working on some important things this weekend in going 4-0 and winning the ring! More proud of the growth and knowledge than we are of the W’s!

The girls got the Spring season started off on the right foot by going 3-0 to win the PrimeTime Tip-Off Classic yesterday! Beat 2 good teams from DFW on the way to the championship! Proud of the way they answers every run that was made at them with poise and trust in each other!
