Base wall flashing: something rarely seen or given attention to in residential construction but should be standard practice. There are a lot of different assemblies, products and methods. This project we wet set a stainless steel drip edge which was followed by 24” 40 mil peel and stick membrane over a properly primed wall (for better bonding). Membrane flashing was then mechanically terminated and sealed at the top.
