Curious about how this works?
I’ve had a few clients not know about/ not understand how this magnetic or Cat-eye polish works and it’s actually fairly simple! And can also create some CUTE designs
The gel polish (which can come in a huge variety of colors) contains iron particles that come to the surface when a magnet is held over it, creating that cat-eye effect. There’s a bunch of different ways to use the magnet to manipulate the way the particles move, giving us tons of different designs!
This particular design was done with 5 different colors, I painted the swirls connecting each color and then held a straight skinny shaped magnet over the areas that I wanted to give the cat-eye effect to. Simple as that!
