Hey folks! Ahead of our upcoming gigs, we are excited to introduce our new band member, Mark Van Loon, on guitar!

Before joining Good Time Heroes, Mark played lead guitar in several East Bay bands, such as Wired and Fizgig, and maintains his chops by playing sessions, jam nights and occasional gigs with local bands! Mark is also a Walnut Creek resident!

Good Time Heroes We are a 90’s grunge rock cover band! SF East Bay and TriValley. We do bars, parties, and events!

Fam and friends, we are so humbled by and appreciative of all of your support! WE WILL keep going! Here are some of our upcoming dates!

The first of which is Friday the 13th @ Meenar in Danville. This one's gonna be special. Matt worked hard to get us in there. So, come join us and let's rock out together!

Friends! Too much has happened since we last posted.

Most importantly, we want to recognize the great Matt Katz, who envisioned and assembled this band. Playing music for family and friends was his dream. He made it easy to get on board with that vision!

Matt's time on Earth ended way too soon, after a battle with cancer. We miss him every day, and will miss him forever.

We send all of our love to Lorraine, Jason, Audra, the kids and the entire extended Katz family and friends circle. Your strength and support for each other through this unimaginable loss has been remarkable. He loved each of you... we know because he told us!

He also told us to keep on going. Keep rocking. Keep doing it for family, friends, and for ourselves because it's what we started together.

And so WE WILL. We are not the same without Matt. He was the Original Good Time Hero! But, we aim to honor him as best we can!

Thank you again to Jack Wagon and Pine Street Bar for an awesome and super fun show Friday night. We love playing with these guys at such a fun venue. A special thank you to Rob McCullough for graciously filling in on guitar the last 2 shows as our guitarist recovers from an illness.
