AgeWell clients and Parkview Assisted Living residents entered crafts in the Boyle County Fair Floral Hall competition at Boyle County Extension Service last week! We took home a total of 24 ribbons! Wow! To say we are proud is an understatement!!!

Mark your calendars for the 2nd annual Empowered Aging Expo! AgeWell Senior Services, LLC - Danville KY is beyond excited to partner with GeriActive, PLLC Mobile Therapy & Wellness and Boyle County Family and Consumer Sciences Extension to connect older adults and their caregivers to important agencies and services committed to successful aging!
This year’s Expo features a vendor fair, educational sessions, fun demonstrations and prizes!

📣 Caregivers… this is a wonderful opportunity!

Caregiving for a loved one is an important and rewarding pursuit. However, it can also be time consuming, stressful, and isolating. Often, the family caregiver neglects their own needs in an attempt to provide the best care.

In recognition and celebration of these every day heroes, Always Best Care of Greater Lexington and Soulrebelex Wellness & BodyCare are teaming up to offer FREE yoga classes for family caregivers! Classes will be on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and will be offered via Zoom so that you can attend from wherever you are. Teresa Johnson, RYT®500, has generously donated the use of her studio zoom room for these classes.

Classes will be taught by Always Best Care of Greater Lexington owner, Sarah Diener, RYT®200, and will follow a calming, meditative, somatic style with a focus on body awareness, tension release, and increased mobility.
