What a great group of people to work with!!!! We did a thing and will hopefully have refrigeration up and going to help with the Sweet Corn process.
Tom was a great guy to work with. If you’re looking for anything from a re**er  Box to a dump truck they have it all down there in Morris.

Come get some corn from Amy McNamara and her crew. IIt’s so good she eating it raw!!!! Truth be told I eat it uncooked all the time.
I also want to give a shout out to CASA. We have sold corn to help them also and it’s great to see their executive director give even more of her time. Thanks Amy McNamara for all that you do on a day to day basis.

We are sharing proceeds with Called To Care this year  an amazing group that is dedicated to helping children locally here in Kendall County.

Some Bi-color sweet corn that’s heading to the food pantry!!!! Thank you Dylan, Jose, Reggie, for all the help!!!  Dylon sits on the called to care board and was able to get a couple of young men to come help do some picking.
If you or anybody else you know is interested in helping pick some corn , we can definitely use it .

Mexican Street Corn - OMG😱 DON'T LOSE THIS😋
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
8 ears corn on the cob shucked
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 cup cotija cheese finely grated

Location this year as of right now will be on River Rd. 1/2 east of Eldamain rd or 2 miles west of route 47. There will be some corn ready to sell and we will be splitting profits with Called To Care this year.

Tomorrow we will pick for the food pantry with some well needed help from Called To Care!!!!
They are a great group of people that are unbelievably generous with their time and families to help out so many children that don’t have the opportunity to have a good safe home to live in.❤️❤️❤️  if you haven’t heard of them, you should look them up they do amazing work and even more so on a local level in Kendall County!!!

As we go is stocked up a Sweet Corn that was picked about 30 minutes ago. Please remember it’s an honor‘s system and a dollar of every dozen goes to Called To Care foster group located in Kendall County.

Please remember this is an honors system the cost is five dollars per dozen three dollars per half dozen.
A dollar of every dozen sold goes to CALLED TO CARE it’s a local foster care group here in Kendall County.


River Rd., Plano location has corn along with Smokeys Wood pit and barbecue at route 47 and 126 yorkville.

If anyone is interested in corn for freezing we can make some package deals on 12 dozen or more at four dollars a dozen. Bring your own bags/boxes or load it right in your car. Please do not pull off the hayrax in these quantities so that people can still get their half dozen and dozens. WE WILL PICK TO ORDER ON BULK QUANTITIES THANK YOU!!!!!

Well we picked about 750 dozen ears of sweet corn for the Kendall County Food Pantry!!!!

A huge thank you to all that came out and helped pick. What an undertaking at 90 plus degrees out!!!!!

We started planting corn the spring of 2020. We wanted to give back to the community on a local level.
Every year we donated a dollar per dozen that is sold to a local nonfor profit organization. We’ve had the opportunity to work with the Kendall County food pantry and Casa.

If anybody is looking for some really incredibly sweet sweet corn please stop at any of our three locations.

This week corn is looking really amazing probably only another week or so!!! So glad we got theirs recent rain to give it a boost!!!

Believe it or not we may have corn 🌽 this next weekend!!!! October 10th. - 11th. Saturday- Sunday Our round 4 is coming in strong 💪🏻. I will keep corn for a cause fb page up to date and let everyone know on Thursday!!!!! If it’s a go we will be out at shell at rt71 and 47 shell gas station and rt34 just west of orchard rd. The usual spots.
