And another one done.

Took a while. But it got done. 🙂

Glass is back ordered, so we're hoping to see it Monday. Owner will be painting himself so we'll be installing the towel bars and toilet roll holder after. None the less, I couldn't wait to post the before and after. To be fair, there's not a lot left to imagination now. 🙂

Full disclosure, I'm still wrapping up finer details. But what a transformation!

Load bearing wall removed courtesy of FL Construction.

All the utilities in the ceiling, and walls moved.
Framing, insulation, drywall, full trim package, can lights, under cabinet lighting, new ducting for island chimney and so much more.

This kitchen is not only beautiful but it's super functional boasting a ton of storage.

We made a faux beam to cover the structural beam out of cypress on site.

I've already done work for this family. Last year I remodeled their bathroom and we've bonded since. They've been very hospitable to me, and my family and we're all truly grateful for it. Equally grateful to have been trusted with this complicated and time sensitive build.

Funny story.

Originally I wasn't sure I'd be able to get all utilities inside the walls. So I designed this kitchen - and ordered materials for said design, to keep utilities inside the ceiling.

Well - I managed to get everything out of the way. Then had to redesign that side with the materials I had to make it work.

I ripped 6" fillers in half. Cut dados to receive a ¼" panel and the rest is pretty evident below. It was incredibly laborious for such a short run of trim but I believe the effort paid off. Can't wait to get the rest dressed up and looking pretty.

That sucked. Looks good though. 😎
Will polish imperfections after work.

Tomorrow, I'll clear coat it, and make the table frame. Small window to make a live edge dining room table, but im still pretty certain I'll have it inside tomorrow night.

And the weekend begins 😎

Just delivered this puppy. Took 4 people to get it in situ. Now we'll get it fixed to the slab, do some touch ups and that's another one done!

Before pic is the last picture. This home office build was a ton of fun. Knotty hickory cabinets. Floating shelves. Quartz countertops, and some beautiful hand made barn doors to greet you. Thank you for the opportunity!

The untrained eye might not be able to tell I made this door from two sheets of birch plywood. 👀

We got ourselves a branding iron, and, apart from my dump trailer - I'm not convinced I'll ever use it lol. Still pretty cool. 🤷‍♂️
