Yesterday I did something to my neck and it hurt so bad I thought my head was going to fall off. I mean literally I could barely look down, and I couldn't look up or to either side AT ALL.

Massage with CBD cream fixed it in 45 minutes, turns out it was a muscle spasm in the trap.

Just for fun, I asked ChatGPT about the benefits of Thai massage, and it came back with miles of information on how amazing it is, and how many ailments it can help.

Everything from arthritis to sciatic to UTIs, which I hadn't particularly heard before, but it makes sense as one of the focuses of Thai work is clearing out the lines of the body that correspond with different organs. But you can read all that for yourself if you want to give it a try and ask your preferred AI. 😉

I prefer to tell new faces that Thai yoga bodywork has been around for thousands of years.

That it's an incredible modality combining traditional massage techniques with gentle yogic stretches and movements, creating space for balance and well-being. ☯️

That I call my particular style East-West bodywork, partially as a homage to my favorite teacher and also because I prefer to take inspiration from both Eastern AND Western modalities into the session, so that we have a broader range of skills to help allievate your pain + tension. 🌤

That I know it can be scary to try something new, but Thai work is relaxing and easy as pie to enjoy! You don't need to be flexible, young, or anything else you might think you need. All you need to enjoy a Thai Session is comfy clothes and your own wonderful self. ✨️

And MOST exciting, since Thai only uses a large comfy floor mat, it's easy to have in the comfort of your own home. 🏡
