So proud! One of our little silkies (who we weren't expecting to start laying for a couple more months!) laid her first egg today! The little white egg is hers.. and the other girls are getting bigger each day. Half the flock is laying now 🤩

Eventful morning! Pig and a few chickens got out and were in our neighbor's driveway talking to him lol. Thank goodness he called and they came right to me! But I still have no idea how they escaped. Happy Saturday 😆

If anyone likes & wants okra let me know! My plants are almost as tall as me and we have more than we can eat 💚

I had no idea my 7 year old would be the main one taking care of the chickens. She is one with the chickens, they think she is a chicken lol.
She's the only one who can pick them up, they follow her around, she's out there first thing in the morning feeding them and talking to them in her PJs. "Gotta go check on MY flock" at least 10 times a day. Coolest kid I know! ❤️🐓

I stopped posting on this page for a while because people can be so cruel!

Pig is more of a brat then ever, chickens are getting so big and should start laying any day now! I'm so proud of my eggplants and okra.. they are delicious. Can't wait to build more garden beds and start the fall planting! ❤️

They outgrew the brooder and needed some more space. These babies are ready for outside (as soon as the coop is finished)!

The chicks are growing! One of the silkies has a little mohawk and it's so funny looking right now lol, his (we think this one's a roo) name is Ketchup! 😅🐤💛

Peas, squash, cucumbers, red and green bell peppers, egg plant, lettuce, celery, potatoes, and a random blueberry bush my child insisted on buying while at the store with her Dad. Next working on some stands to hold the containers and some garden beds 💚

We got Cheddar in November when he was about 6 months old. He's never been very interested in us and keeps to himself.. until we got him a pig friend! He's obsessed with her, follows her around, they share food. He's so sweet and is so much more active and hopping around the house since we got Flower 🐰🐖
