Just wanted to update my photos to show pieces I have recently completed. The Christmas Santas, Snowmen and the Santa Teddy Bear were all made as gifts for my famaily. However, for a small deposit, I will accept commission work to make any of these Items for you.

Welcome to my page - Let me introduce myself.

I’m Frank Valenta, aka Scroll Saw Art by Frank, LLC

I originate from Long Island New York and, after retiring from a long lifetime career in Civil/Structural Engineering, lived the next 19 years in Western North Carolina. In WNC I continued to do Civil/structural Engineering consulting while enjoying a hobby as a woodworker doing all kinds of turning work and furniture making. In 2014 I relocated to Florida and now I’m a retired Ormond Beach resident who enjoys keeping busy making sawdust while making Scroll Saw Art.

I have been a woodworker for many years, who now has had to limit my woodworking to small projects after relocating to Florida and downsizing from a large 1200 SF woodworking shop to a tiny 100 SF shop. I have become a recognized Master Scroll Saw Craftsman by my peers. I create one of a kind Fine Art Framed Portrait Panels and other scroll work projects like Sculptures, Boxes, and other specialty items in wood.

My Collections include, Birds, Eagles, Felines, Flowers, Fun Stuff, Horses, Nautical, Other Animals and much more in a Miscellaneous category.

I have taken Scroll Saw Art to an elevated level of complexity, beauty, and richness by frequently incorporating hand or air brush painted color into my work.

Art lovers from as far away as Canada have purchased my work and they hang in homes, businesses and even a church on Long Island New York.
I have done, and can do, special subject commission projects in accord with a client’s requests.
