CBF’s Pan African Koinonia hosts the third annual Late Night Worship service! Hear Rev. Dr. Zina Jacque preach as we celebrate a tradition that stems from the first Watch Night service held December 31, 1862 as enslaved people gathered waiting for the news of freedom to come through the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.
Did you know that this year’s General Assembly has a theme song?🎵 CBF commissioned a song written by Christian McIvor, who will be leading worship at this year’s assembly, titled “re:imagine.” We’ll get a chance to sing “re:imagine”together in worship Friday evening.
