We had the pleasure of shooting one of our sweet friends and her family last night. I had to get some edited ASAP because the meaning of these photos is just too special. Michelle, on her way to church on Sunday, passed by this field of bluebonnets (which are holding on strong for a few more days) and just knew she wanted some family photos before her hair is gone. Michelle was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma - Triple negative, Stage 2 Grade 3 breast cancer. She has already had 2 rounds of chemo and the hair is already starting to shed. She cut off 14 inches of her hair and is embracing the cutest haircut until she ultimately loses it all. These photos are so important for her and her family, and we are so thankful she trusted us to take these for her. I know her family could use the extra prayers from those who know her and even those who don’t. Prayer is so strong and we know she will beat this and come out on the other side as a survivor helping others navigate through their diagnosis. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
