deep Snapper
"For a death metal band, you weren't that good."
On this date in 2006 deep Snapper was born after a 9 month incubation. P, C, and J descended upon J and J’s Dirty Old Basement in Denton Tx and knocked out a set of punk rock minimalist three piece Minutemen worshipping celebration that turned into 106 shows (they weren’t all zingers), 5 records, multiple compilations, another record still in the can awaiting to see the sun, and demos/shed recordings so wanting to be pressed to splattered wax. Torn Bazaar joined the troop transforming the band into an onion, so many layers. We went on the road twice. Made some good friends. Lost 2 dear friends who did art and layout for “drowning man” and “pi on the side” who we’ll continue to miss long after we forget about dS. Sadly 2012 was the end of the road as family and life took precedence. Some working on other projects, some doing their own thing. All still lifelong friends and brothers.
Four records available on cd format only. Free for the asking. I’ll even cover shipping. Share with someone who would like free stuff I’ll throw in stickers, poster, and whatever May still be lying around.
