BIG NEWS ALERT. I’m officially done working at my full time, corporate job today & to be honest I’m terrified. We made the decision that I was going to stay home with our baby and focus on photography & baby raising & I also could not be more excited for this new chapter. This also means I now have the flexibility for weekday shoots (with baby girl tagging along on my back if it’s during the day lol). Soooo LET’S BOOK SOMETHING! 🖤

Sent off this gallery last night on the final day of August & I can’t believe we’re now already in September! This summer was so incredibly sweet with how much time we spent outside, camping & hiking, as a family. Now it’s time to prep for that Oktoberfest season. 😤🍻🍂

We’re getting more snow today & even more early next week. I guess winter just wanted to delay it’s appearance or something, but here we are! 🤍

This is how I feel about the snow we are forecasted to get this weekend. I keep hearing anywhere from 2-5 FEET, but I truly have noooo idea what to expect, lol. Either way, 👏🏼bring👏🏼it👏🏼on!!

I can’t believe it’s March! I have a really positive feeling that this month is going to be a good one - I’m speaking it into existence right now haha.

You know when you walk into a room & think “wow..these people are seriously so cool” - well that’s how I felt meeting . Some of the nicest people around with the absolute coolest graphics! I had so much fun walking around downtown with them this past weekend. Go check out their website & support this local, woman owned business!

Courtney & Sam recently got engaged over New Years after knowing each other for years and having grown up in the same home town.
Honestly though, I’m always just blown away by the couples I get to work with & how sweet, humble, & friendly they all are. I really feel so lucky to be able to do this & get to know each of them. 🤍

Below freezing & high winds might scare some, but not these two. 😍
Hold your loved ones close today folks because Colorado is in the negatives, meaning there is NO way I am leaving my bed! 🥶

Yesterday was my Friday and I now have 5 days off from my office job!! 🎉

Hey there! It’s me, Jolee, & it’s been a little while since I’ve introduced myself, so I figured I’d throw out some fun tidbits in the hopes that there are some things we have in common!
•My husband & I recently bought a house up in the mountains of Colorado with our dog & 2 cats, & we are loving it.
•I cannot sit still for the life of me & am constantly doing SOMEthing - dishes, working out, walking the neighborhood, hiking, laundry, snowboarding, organizing. Literally cannot relax lol.
•One year, one of my goals was to not buy any new clothes & it was awesome (I did have to buy a new pair of jeans when they ripped though because it was the only jeans I owned that I could wear to work lol). I highly recommend doing this, it’s so freeing.
•I try to read at least one book a month but realllyyyy slacked last year, so I’m hoping to overcompensate this year (send me all of your book recs!).
•Even though I read a lot, I am legitimately a tv addict. It’s so bad that I watch tv almost constantly while working from home - just killing brain cells over here. 😅
•I work a full time corporate job but hope that one day my life isn’t stuck behind a computer screen all day (I just need to be outside all day, every day, ya know? lol).
•My favorite food is tacos. Any kind of tacos: breakfast, street, vegan. Throw a tortilla around it & I’ll eat it.
•I’m not a hat person & this is the only baseball hat that actually looks decent on me, so you’ll probably see it often lol.
Anyway, I hope this week is treating everyone well so far. If we have some things in common, let’s be friends! If not, let’s still be friends!
In the meantime, I’m going to get outside soon & bask in the glorious sunshine while it’s still out. 🌞

I am absolutely in awe of this beautiful state! Usually we are out on the mountain skiing/snowboarding every weekend, but lately we have been hiking like craaaazy. Seriously any day that gets above 30° (I know, I feel crazy even saying that lol) means we are outside trekking along.
Anyone have any favorite hikes they want to share? I am alllll about those chilly, snowy trails right now. 🤍
