The snow is deep on the road and it's slick!

Here is Colorado this is what we are being told "What to watch":

The cooldown begins late Saturday when rain is expected to transition to snow at night on the Front Range, with lows dipping into the upper 20s as part of a "significant early season winter storm" moving through the Rockies, the National Weather Service reports.

- The snow continues into Sunday with highs only reaching the mid-30s and lows near 20°.

- The forecast is still uncertain on accumulation levels, with predictions currently at 1 to 3 inches in Denver and more in the foothills.

- Yes, but: Temperatures will return to the 50s next week.

💭 Our thought bubble: If this is your first time experiencing a Colorado Cooldown and/or have never driven in the snow:

1) hire a pro to make sure you get to your event on time;
2) get snow tires; and
3) visit an empty parking lot with snow in it - gain some experience of what how your car stops, starts, and turns when the roads are in this condition.

1. SNOWCAT SKIING & SNOWBOARDING Go with a group of your best friends to explore Vail’s glorious backcountry from above the high-elevation timberline. Daylong sessions mean you can go for multiple runs through untouched powder amid alpine forests, deep bowls and open glades.

2. SKI AND SNOWBOARD LESSONS
Make if a family affair with first-time lessons for the kiddos or do a skills refresher together.

3. DOG SLEDDING: pile on a sled that winds through private paths lined with aspens and pines. Or take the reins where you can lead the way and drive a full team of dogs yourself.

4. SLEIGH RIDES
Cozy up with the family on a sleigh ride through a winter wonderland. Enjoy the authentic Western dinner and live entertainment that comes with your ticket purchase. You can stroll the property, meet the massive sleigh horses or make gooey s’mores around the campfire.
