Fighting Dragons PASCO: In honor of sportsmanship and our relationship with you, we want to recognize what happened to you in the final race. We all want a clean race, and this was not. You are clearly obstructed. I commend your team for remaining focused and pushing through it. We have been on the other side of this same situation and understand your feeling all to well. It’s heartbreaking. This should have resulted (at the least) a re-race between our two teams. I truly wish we had known as we would have done so in a heartbeat. As competitors and your friends, we are sorry that this happened.

Finally, we also want to recognize your sportsmanship after the race. Your team is world-class in sportsmanship and integrity. You have our full respect. For your captains to come and congratulate us and address our team means the world.

• 2022 Riverdale Dragon Boat Regatta, 250m Event - August 27, 2022 •

CFD posted the fastest time in the time trial, then took first in the Semis to get us into the Premier Division Finals against PASCO Fighting Dragons and Lao Buddhist Temple. The teams brought their A Game and it was an exciting, well-fought battle.

In the end we took home some nice jewelry for the collection, but it is always an honor and so much fun to be on the water with our sister team and all the other fierce competitors in CO.

Not a bad way to end our 2022 paddling season. Til next year, let it ride!!

2019 USDBF Club Crew Nationals

We set out with two things in mind: 1) Where do we stand against the “big dog” National level teams? and 2) We are either going to be completely humbled or shock some people. Well, it was a little bit of everything!
While we were definitely humbled by some of the best teams in the Nation, we absolutely managed to surprise even ourselves with our performance!

We raced into the Consolation A bracket both days, taking second in the 400m and first in the 200m events. This landed us in 6th place overall, the fastest CO team, hanging right up there with some amazing out of state teams after an exciting, intense weekend in our beautiful home state!

To all the competitive teams who made the journey out to race with us, it was an honor being on the water with you and congratulations on some awesome racing!

We would like to thank GWN Dragon Boat for hosting the event, and last but not least those who support and cheer us on every day: our sister team, Fighting Dragons PASCO , our friends and families.

GWN Dragon Boat - Colorado Springs International Dragon Boat Festival Teams are responsible for picking up their waste within their team sites. In addition to handing out wastebags during team check-in, there will be wastebaskets located throughout the Athletes' Village to maintain the park's cleanliness. CO Dragon Boat Festival 2019 Race Results

After a long weekend of intense racing with strong competition, this team has done it again! The most consistent team at the festival, getting on the podium in every event.

The team brought home Silver medals in both the 500m and 250m Competitive Division races. As you can see from the time sheets, both Finals were extremely tight and only 0.5 seconds made the difference each time. Congratulations to the Fighting Dragons PASCO and Lao Buddhist Temple of Denver Dragonboat Club teams who took home the Gold!

At the end of the long, hot weekend, this team also raced into the Top 3 in the head-to-head Knock Out races.
