Meditation is so beneficial for your mental well-being, especially if you are someone that struggles with anxiety.

We all make mistakes. Maybe it’s time to learn from your mistakes and forgive yourself. You don’t need to punish yourself. That won’t change anything. Be kind to yourself and practice self-compassion.

In my last post I gave you suggestions on things you can say instead of “it’s ok” when receiving an apology. But what about when you are hurt but don’t receive an apology at all or you receive an apology that you are not ready to forgive?
When receiving an apology, out of habit we often say “it’s ok” but is it? Here are some things you can say instead of “it’s ok”. It’s not required that you accept an apology in the moment. You can take time to think about it, to process it, or to refuse it depending on the incident and level of pain it caused you.
Email me if you would like some help with processing an apology or something someone did that hurt you: [email protected]

Beauty is everywhere. Look around and make sure you aren’t missing it.
The more we focus on something, the more we notice it. If you focus on the beauty in your life, your brain will start to notice more often which will positively impact your mindset and your thoughts.
It takes a lot of practice.
When a child struggles with their mental health, I often recommend the guardian seek out their own individual therapy. More often than not, this is met with pushback. A recommendation to see a therapist is not an insult. A child is part of a family unit and when the whole family is working on their own mental health and wellness, the family unit becomes healthier and stronger. You will also normalize therapy for your child which can encourage them to engage in their own therapy.
If your child is struggling with their mental health, I recommend you see a therapist as well.
