In today’s overwhelming Information Age, having more calming finishes in our homes helps us to create peaceful surroundings. This in turn helps our bodies to relax and refresh more easily. In this kitchen, we used a solid colored tile that lends to a calming feel. By placing it in an unexpected direction we made sure it wasn’t boring and underwhelming. Wonder if you made your family wear monochromatic solid colored clothing they would help you feel more calm as well? Probably not.
