To be honest I’m actually pretty grateful all the time, but some of you know I had a doozy of a week last week!

And I’ve been on a roller coaster of emotions since…

Thankfully 😅
Everything turned out all right!
So I’m going to simply bask in this moment and continue to be grateful for all of the crazy that’s ensued in the last week 🙌🏾🙏🏾

String bean ➡️ Lean & Mean (lol, I’m not too mean)

Genetically!
I came from lean parents.
& well, you see how I looked lmao 🤣

I participated in several sports growing up, but couldn’t put on weight.
I also didn’t think that I needed too! 🤷🏽‍♀️

As a gymnast my “workouts” consisted of body weight exercises!

As a cheerleader my “workouts” consisted of cardio (can’t be out of breath on the sidelines haha) and body weight exercises as well- but not my body haha!

As a track athlete my “workouts” focused mainly on cardio and routine lifting (that I didn’t feel necessary to run 🤦🏾‍♀️ ).

2 things I didn’t know or understand was;
1. You have to eat properly to grow!
2. Lifting will enhance your athletic prowess, NO MATTER WHAT SPORT IT IS!

You can sculpt your body the way you want with a little bit of good food and light to heavy weight and increase your athletic abilities!
It all depends on what you want from yourself 🙌🏾

I know right!

However I am a huge fan of doing multiple shows a season because every show you get a little better!
You can see the difference every show, even with 2 weeks in-between!

Now should they be that close? Well that’s up to you and what your body can take but it definitely was a fun challenge haha 😂

This year started out hot and now I’m on fire 🔥

But I finally had time to sit down and think about my goals for the new year & write em out!

They are….
1. Be fluent in Japanese 🙌🏾
2. Take a trip to Japan (use my Japanese & go to Disney land in Tokyo!)
3. Learn ASL
4. Run in a track meet!
5. Compete floor in a gymnastic meet lol!
6. Start a my podcast 🫖
7. Break 10 New JARFIT Pros!
8. And ….. I’m going to apply for my PhD and start school in the fall! 😱

My head is spinning and I’m soooo freakin excited 😆

Sooooo if you have a friend that speaks any of the languages you see send them my way I need people to practice with 🤣
