Today I had another fun opportunity working with my father-in-law Joseph Kochou of Edessa LLC installing a furnace for a customer who had no heat.

There’s no worse time than now to have your furnace break down, but whenever you have issues just know that we’ve got you covered 👍

PSA: if your humidifier filter does not look this clean, I highly recommend replacing. Depending on your water softness or how much you use the humidifier, you should consider changing them every 6 months.

If there’s too much dirt buildup or you have never changed this filter (most people don’t know it’s there) you are making your humidifier work harder, but more importantly you are allowing bacteria to grow and be filtered through the air in your home.

A humidifier is designed to increase the moisture in your home's air, especially during the winter months when humidity tends to be lower.

This customer had a bad solenoid valve which did not allow the humidifier to run.

Once the valve was replaced and water was running we discovered that the feed tube had a small crack in it leading to a small water leak. The feed tube was replaced with 1/4 inch copper pipe.
