It’s December 1! So you know what that means, Toys For Tots time! The last few years our Madness team has participated in the Toys For Tots drive with one of our wonderful sponsors, Ryan Transportation Group. Ryan Transportation started collecting for Toys For Tots in 2020, and in three years has collected and donated over 21,000 toys! What a ride it’s been, and we’re on the way to another successful holiday season this year! Donations have already been coming in for a couple months, and we’ve got at least another 2-3 weeks to collect🙏🏻❤️💙🚛

We’ve been blessed to have so many great high school teams and players Downriver the last few years. Here’s one of the local superstars our girls have followed closely the last few seasons! Congrats to Avery and her family on her signing! Northwestern is big time ball, but also big time academics.

Avery was a former Madness baller back in her younger days, a part time go-to Madness umpire that also instructs and helps the girls with things she sees when she’s on the field with us, and someone that promotes confidence in our girls to know that those huge goals they have are obtainable, if they’re willing to put the time and effort into it on the field and in the classroom.

Allen Park’s Avery Garden signs on to play softball at Northwestern University The senior and all-stater for the Jags made her college choice official on Wednesday.

Fall ball ends this weekend☹️ Looking to finish strong, and the girls are off to a great start! We had our first over the fence homerun of the season in game one and it was also Julia’s first ever over the fence dinger! Opposite field too for #22 wearing the Madness bling💪🏻💙🥎❤️

BIG round of applause 👏🏻 for #9 Ella Stetz! Ella was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society last night. Be proud Ella, we all are!

It’s Ava Cerda Day, her first Madness birthday! It’s been a pleasure getting to know this kid, she’s one of the more quiet kids on the team, but she’s got one of the loudest bats! Spent our Sunday on the ball field starting at 7:30am and walked through our door at home at 7:30pm! Who wants to spend a cool fall Sunday on the couch watching football all day when you can spend 12 hours on the ball field with some of your favorite people. These long and crazy days can be tough, but I love seeing the kids grind through all the challenges that come their way. I couldn’t imagine not being a part of it, but when that day finally comes and it’s time to sit on the other side of the fence, these days will always be some of my favorite memories❤️🥎💙

Didn’t take long for these Madness Ballers to add to their bling collection in the new season. Not exactly the end result we expected, but when you give yourself an opportunity to play in the last game of the tourney, it’s a great day and we’ll always be proud and thankful for that. They know though, plenty of work to be done still to get where they want to be.

These girls have been working to turn that traditional double play too, and this weekend they flipped it clean, 4-6-3! How ‘bout them Madness Ballers!

Missed a couple of our ballers at practice tonight, but that’s because they were too busy getting inducted into the National Junior Honor Society! Congratulations Moorea Leslie and Lily Gonzales! All that hard work in the classroom will always help with more opportunities on the field. We’re all proud of you!
