New art.
Tried something new with this. I drew the image in and even added a photo of the city scape the way old comic artist used to put a photostat in comics.
Then printed it onto the paper very lightly. I then used ink, watercolor, and gauche to finish the piece as a traditional art.

Decided to revisit a sketch cover I did several weeks ago and turn it into a painting. Mix media with ink, acrylic, and color pencil. I really love working like this, mixing things mediums that you might not normally think of going together.
Congratulations to President Donald Trump on the most historic political comeback in USA history.

12x16 acrylic on canvas board.
Newest canvas painting.
I am overall happy with it but it was a major headache. I decided to try canvas from Hobby Lobby and you get what you pay for. It was such a crap piece of canvas. There must be some oil or similar product in the gesso they paint on these because the paint would not stick at all. It kept coming up off the canvas.
I love their tracing paper and I really like the brushes for the price but the canvasβs are horrible.
