Izzy is ten weeks old and growing beautifully! We have continued our socialization adventures and we are making progress in housebreaking and crate training! Today we started working on some basic skills like learning to sit, lay down, how to respond to a leash, and what fun it is to come back to her person!
Nothing seems to faze her! She loves to play and curl up in your lap. She is very self aware for a puppy as well as handler focused.
She would make a good therapy dog/service dog prospect or simply be a wonderful companion.
Message me if interested!

It's been awhile since I've written a devotional. I have felt the Lord pressing on my heart to write down what I've been learning lately. My life has been turned upside down over the past couple of years. I have dealt with some significant health things which has had major ramifications on other areas of my life. Some days are good and some are rough but one of the things that always puts a smile on my face and helps me to decompress is my dogs.
Riggs' favorite things to do is to play frisbee. He loves all toys but his frisbee trumps all. In the photo below, all you see is Riggs with his frisbee. What you don't see is the four other dogs that were running around, adults chatting nearby, and children playing with toys, scootering, and running in all different directions! Despite all that was around him, Riggs was unmoved in his focus and desire to get his frisbee. This didn't just happen once or on this day. Wherever we are, whatever is in the environment, whoever is in the environment.... none of it matters when his frisbee is out. Riggs is unmoved by me the changing and distracting environment around him. When I'm with animals, my mind is constantly watching their behavior with fascination. Time and time again I see connections and lessons in God's character and how He wants us to respond to Him. While reflecting on this day, it hit me just how unmoved Riggs is when that silly frisbee is out.
Standing in the field, the wind whipping around me, and rain drizzling down, my own tears flowed freely down my face. I wish I could tell you that while going through the trials of life I stayed unmoved, laser focused on God no matter what was happening. Sadly, that is not the case. The journey has been hard with many potholes and speedbumps along the way. My heart regrets that instead of staying unmoved while the environment and circumstances change around me, I believe lies that Satan is telling me, I lean into my emotions too deeply, and fall into pits of self pity. I let worry of what others will think of my circumstances take me down.
Hebrews 12:1-3 says "Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let's rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let's run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Just as Riggs is unmoved by his focus and love for his frisbee despite the world moving and changing around him, this is how I need to respond to the Lord. Life has thrown a lot at me over the past couple of years. I'm learning that it's ok to be sad and to feel emotion but during that process, am I unmoved... Am I walking through the valleys and waves of life unmoved with my eyes and heart fixed on Jesus as I run this race. When I think about the example set by Riggs with his frisbee, I realize how "moved" and off base I've been. It's time to reset, buckle down in my prayer life and resolve to spend deep and qaulity time with my Lord. It's time to be unmoved in my commitment to and focus on my God as the curve balls whiz by me, I stumble over the speed bumps, and crash into the walls. I must keep my gaze steady on my Savior and stay unmoved as life swirls around me. What a lesson to realize and to learn... As always, I see how much God loves me to allow me to see these lessons and learn through my dogs that He gave me as such good and perfect gifts.... What a kind and wonderful God we serve...

Max and Maggie.... I have known both of these labradors since they were puppies. Max (right) is fourteen and Maggie (left) is ten. They are some of the sweetest dogs I know, both serving long careers as pet therapy dogs bringing smiles to all 🥰

I finished this set and just had to show off this beautiful girl and her animals with some of my favorites. ❤️. When I look at these, my heart just sings praises to the Lord. This beautiful young lady who radiates Christ given the gift of relationship with her animals. The joy on Lydia’s face, the unspoken communication of expression between her, Fly, and Pip as well as the beautiful outdoors is the perfect picture of peace as we remember all good things come from Him!!

I just had to jump on and share this one too. It's too good not too! A girl and her animals.... I speak from experience that there are few places physically and emotionally happier than this....
What joy captured in this moment.... What joy God has given us in the gift of our beautiful four legged friends...

It was a weekend for equine photos shoots! I am basically obsessed with this photo! Lydia and Fly are another amazing team. One of my favorite things to do is to capture relationship in photos. They say a photo is worth a thousand words and I think this one speaks a million...

A highlight reel from some photos of some of my favorite people and pups! More to come!!This was such a blast and a celebration of life and our furry families. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…. We get out of relationships what we put into them. Everyone in these photos truly pours into their pups and the relationship is reflected in these photos! Thanks for a fun evening to all involved! 🥰

I love doing photos in general but when I get to take photos of friends and their animals, I feel like it’s extra special. The connection we have with our animals is something almost magical. I firmly believe that some people have a deeper connection with these creatures then others. After all, you only get out of a relationship what you put into one! Ash Harris is one of those people who has a deep and special relationship with any animal she owns. To be able to capture her with Sharkie was truly a privilege. Thanks for sharing him Ash! He’s one amazing boy and so lucky to have you 🥰
If you’re interested in photos, I’m currently open for booking! Feel free to message me 😊
