Focus on the colors, shapes, and details. 👃 Take a deep breath and pay attention to four things you can smell. Is it the scent of fresh flowers, coffee brewing, or the crisp air outside? 🖐️ Notice three things you can feel physically. It could be the texture of your clothing, the warmth of sunlight on your skin, or the ground beneath your feet. 👅 Acknowledge two things you can taste. Maybe it's the lingering flavor of your last meal or a refreshing sip of water. 👂 Listen closely to one thing you can hear. Is it the hum of traffic, birds chirping, or the gentle rustle of leaves in the wind? By engaging your senses, you bring yourself back to the present moment and disrupt the cycle of anxious thoughts.
