Boo 👻 I haven't been ghosting you. ❤️ I've just been on the move. I've been in Australia for my dad's 80th birthday then a quick hop back to Saudi then home to France with my husband and children and now back to Saudi again. And in between all of that I've been enjoying wrapping up some client work before enjoying the summer at home in France again.
In between that, my new website is being created, my artwork has been gifted to a few ⭐'His Excellencies', an 😲Ambassador as well as a 🫅🏻Prince, more of my art is for sale in Matjar stores, and I had new artwork installed in the elevators inside the Al Khozama hotel.
I've missed your faces and can't wait to hear about what you've been up to.

This small but mighty creature, measuring between 230-310mm in length, showcases nature’s ingenuity through its unique adaptations to the harsh desert environment of Saudi Arabia, especially within semi-deserts and dry grasslands.

Did you know? The Euphrates Jerboa can leap distances of up to three meters in a single bound and reach speeds of up to 24 kilometers per hour! 🏃‍♂️💨 These remarkable abilities make it a master of survival in the vast and varied landscapes it calls home.

This animal was actually extinct in the wild but through conservation and breeding, the Oryx is back in the wild once more. This gorgeous animal is also referred to in the Quran and the Bible and its behind one of the biggest legends of our time. I wrote about the Arabian Oryx (and the amazing legend) in my blog and linked all the sites where you can get more information about conservation centers in Saudi Arabia.
My art will be released once all the wildlife artworks have been completed. My purpose for this collection is to create awareness, share information and stories about the KSA wildlife on the redlist and in doing so, foster meaning and compassion that leads to action.

I wanted to share my highlight of 2023!
If you're here, you know I'm a big space geek, and I wanted to share this exciting moment with you.
When I say space geek, when I met my first NASA scientist, I was elated for at least a year (ok I still am) and then, this year, my husband launched a satellite which was thrilling from beginning to end, but (sorry darling) last week had to top it all.

Do you remember in May this year, how I posted (a lot) about Rayyanah Barnawi, the first female Saudi Astronaut? Myself and my family followed her preparation to launch and then watched her launch stream live, riveted by the experience.
I think I posted about every moment!
To commemorate, firstly, this incredible, hard working and accomplished person, and secondly to mark her inaugural space launch, I created two pop-art artworks
in her honour as a part of my
Augmented Reality Hijabi Pop Art Collection.

And last week, I was invited to gift one of the artworks to Rayyanah in person, at the KAUST Smart Health Initiative dinner in her honour.
I was also thrilled that KAUST's President Chan also gifted her
another one of my artworks as well!

I've been told that the artwork now hangs proudly in her parents home.
I wonder if they've seen the Augmented reality message hidden in the portrait!
