Cathy P’s Flower and Vegetable Gardens
My mother was a big gardener when I was a child after we moved into our house in Downers Grove from Chicago. We actually had our own yard finally to plant in and so she did and I got to participate in the vegetable garden we had next to the ditch on Fairview Ave an I even remember planting radishes along our driveway LOL. I have followed in her footsteps after purchasing my own home and continue my love of gardening while my mom moved on to other interest. I would document all my gardening plants into books with the plant tags and pictures cut out of magazines so I knew my successes and failures and still have all tthos books from 1980s. I then tried moving on to memory sticks but they would run out of room esp with photos and it as time consuming so now I have decided to post them here on my page and this was anyone can see. It is so easy for me to take a photo share it to Facebook and add what information I want right there. So mind you, these are only a tiny fraction of the plants growing and I am slowly trying to add new as I go along, I also have a whole mess of hummingbird plants but for the complete information on those you need to visit my hummingbird page so that I do not have to double post
