Unsurprisingly, the Los Angeles County Office of Education folks are making a splash at this year's ISTE Conference. From participating in the Solutions Summit network conversation to showing how AI supports SAMR, LACOE continues to center EdTech development on the needs of students, educators, staff, and parents.
The Los Angeles County Office of Education is hosting the first LA County Education Innovation Lab Design Summit on Friday, August 2, 2024, at the USC campus. This is a unique opportunity for TK-12 teachers to collaborate, innovate, and provide input that can help shape the future of education technology.

In accordance with State Superintendent Tony Thurmond’s professional learning initiative, the CDE is committed to supporting artificial intelligence (AI)-focused professional learning for administrators and educators to educate them about the benefits and limitations of AI. Educators seeking support regarding AI can now download a newly released AI resource kit PDF featured on the CDE’s Learning With AI, Learning About AI web page.
