HumanGood | Senior Living Communities and Affordable Housing HumanGood is one of the largest owners and operators of senior living communities. We're dedicated to helping older adults be everything they want to be.
HumanGood University recently held a graduation for the first class of the Good to Grow: Emerging Leader program. The 10-week program is intended for front-line team members who aspire to grow into leadership positions.
Participants learned competencies in the areas of activating change; collaboration, identifying work priorities, resolving conflict with peers, and skillful conversations. The objective of the program is to develop essential first leadership skills, and create career pathways for team members.
Here’s what some of the team members had to say about the program:
Kim D: “I am happy to have learned the material not only to apply in my professional life but my personal life as well.”
Erika R: “I really learned a lot about myself. It was nice to see I had all the tools within me to be a good leader I just needed to believe in myself to know I have what it takes.”
Claire E: “I cannot say enough good things about the program! It was so much fun and I am grateful that HumanGood provides the opportunity for team members to grow in their leadership skills. After completing the program, I am better equipped in my communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and I have gained a support system across communities and departments who I can now go to for perspective.”
