πSTOP MEANS STOP FOR SCHOOL BUSES! π
When school is in session, do your part to keep kids safe. Under Ohio law, drivers must stop when a school bus is dropping off or picking up students. School bus drivers who see someone run the stop sign will report the vehicleβs license plate number and incident location to law enforcement, which could lead to criminal charges.
Please use this helpful graphic to understand the law! For more information from Ohio Traffic Safety Office, visit https://otso.ohio.gov/programs/stop-means-stop/stop-means-stop

Have you used the Dublin Connector to get to work, doctor appts or errands around town? Tell us how it went.
βIβd recommend the Dublin Connector to others as a great, friendly option in the Dublin area,β says Mark Campolito, who uses the service Monday through Friday as a first-mile, last-mile connection between the bus stop and his workplace. Without the Dublin Connector, he would need to take a 40-minute walk from his bus stop to his work.
The Dublin Connector is a free transportation service for Dublin residents over the age of 55, residents with disabilities or anyone who works in Dublin. The service will pick up and drop off at any address in Dublin. Get on board β‘οΈ https://loom.ly/aiCO_FA

Important information for all residents.
Washington Township Fire Department is setup to help during an active gas leak. During these situations, residents are evacuated as needed to keep everyone in the area safe.
How can you tell if you have a gas leak?
The smell. Natural gas and propane have a distinctive smell for a reason. For safety purposes, utility companies use an additive called mercaptan that gives colorless and odorless gases a smell that is hard to miss. Most people describe this smell as something like rotten eggs, sewage, or sulfur.
Another way is if you hear a hissing sound near your gas lines. In fact, a hissing sound could mean you have a substantial leak; the louder the noise, the bigger the gas leak.
Do not go out of your way to find the gas leak. If you think itβs a possibility, make evacuation your focus and call 9-1-1. Let us take care of it!

CPR is important for everyone, especially parents and grandparents. This course is easy to take and you learn so much.
We had a great time during our most recent CPR class with an amazing group of attendees. What did they all have in common? Coincidentally, each one of them was a grandparent! We love that these individuals wanted to learn how to be able to help their loved ones in the event of an emergency situation. β€
Washington Township offers several different CPR classes. This particular class is a great course to take and is intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR but does not need a course completion card to meet a job requirement. Itβs ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, and students.
