Hey everybody, we are looking forward to getting back out there and playing some shows! We’ve got some fun new things in the works, I found some guys to join and play with me as we have recently gone through some changes. October 28th will be the first show with the new lineup so be looking for an event to get posted in the next couple days!

Hey folks Josh(Mohawk) here, I’ve struggled the last day and half to find the right words. However, it’s not as easy it seems. Bo Allen you have gone from someone I had heard of in the music community, to someone I look up to, and have enjoyed every minute sharing a stage with you this past year. It’s not going to be easy to fill your shoes, and quite frankly despite having big feet I know I can’t fill your shoes. I will however do everything I can to keep Sorta Country rolling along in a fashion that will make you proud. Best of luck on you next adventure, I know you will crush it! PS you’re welcome to sit in and play anytime you want! That being said we are restructuring and coming at you with a new show mixed with country, rock, pop. I appreciate all of you for following us on this crazy musical journey and can only hope you stick around for what’s to come!

Exciting News! A New Chapter Begins: Elevating My Video Production Journey

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news and updates about my journey in the world of creativity and storytelling.

For the past ten years, I have had the incredible privilege of being a stay-at-home dad, nurturing and cherishing every moment. During this time, I've also pursued my passion for visual storytelling, delving into freelance video and photography work whenever the opportunity arose. Many of you have seen my work in various forms – from weddings and interviews to commercials, music videos, and captivating documentary projects.

While playing music with the band Sorta Country, which I founded, has been an absolute joy, I've come to a pivotal point in my career. I am ready to take my video production endeavors to the next level, and with mixed emotions, I am announcing my departure from the band. I wish them all the best as they continue their musical journey.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the music community and the wonderful venues that have supported me throughout this musical adventure. Rest assured, I will still be a part of the music scene, selectively booking events in the future. However, for now, my primary focus will be on expanding and enhancing my video production services.

With great enthusiasm, I am thrilled to introduce my brand new website, where you can explore my portfolio and learn more about the dedicated team I have assembled to help serve the Duluth and Superior area, and beyond. The website is a work in progress, and we will be adding more exciting elements as we go along.

As I transition into this exciting new phase, I do have a few remaining dates with the band before the year's end, and I hope to see many of you out there soon, sharing the joy of music together.
