Sweet Mare Studio
Please visit my website- sweetmarestudio.com Hello, welcome and thank you for visiting! My name is Teresa and I am a painter. Make yourself at home here.
If you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them with me. Some exciting things have been evolving lately. I was recently selected to be part of the RubberMoon Art Stamp Company. They are an artsy company that sells amazing and unique stamps created by talented artists. Lizzard's Art Gallery has represented my work for many many years. I love being a part of that beautiful space
An amazing capture from my brother, Dan!! Enjoy!!! Daniel J. Cox Natural Exposures
A red-billed oxpecker sits patiently on the back of a zebra. These little birds are responsible for helping many African animals reduce the ticks that infest so many animals in the African bush. I shot a short story for National Geographics Children's magazine back in the 90s on how pesticides were reducing oxpecker numbers dramatically. You can see a gallery of images from that piece here https://archive.naturalexposures.com/proofing/G0000VZMFA4y9XtA
47 Degrees Art Gallery opens on Friday!! 186 Alger Smith Rd., Knife River, MN 55609, Hours-Fri-Sun, 10-5
OPENING FRIDAY! And these incredible pals have been working behind the scenes for hours and hours to get things cleaned up and ready! Xoxoxoxo Thank you so much Jean, Gail, Lu.
So this piece is 98% done. I will, no doubt, add some things, take some things away, enhance here, tone down there. No title yet. Leaning toward something about a fairy garden. Ideas anyone? š§ šøš·š
Does anyone else do this when they āfinishā a painting or come to the āendā of a creative project?
When someone buys an original from me they get a painting that is different than what is seen in social media photographs. Basically about 2% different. Because I always change a few things after getting to the point where I want to be done. I like doing this so that the owner of the original has the very one and only image that exists. Even reproductions are not the exact same as what the original ends up being. They are ever so slightly different.
Playing with Art Rooms app. Itās so fun to see how a painting might look in different settings.

Another gnarly bloom. These are some of my very favorite to paint. Such interesting lines and shapes.
A NEW painting in the works! This is the very beginning/underpainting. Stay tuned! My goal is to end up with many shades of warm browns, creams, whites everywhere-including a chestnut horse. š
