In April, we celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the Alworth Memorial Fund. Please enjoy this slideshow of our 75th Anniversary Dinner. The music is an original song ("Perpetuity") written and performed by Ted Smart to celebrate this milestone.
Since its inception in 1949, the fund has awarded $56,746,401 to 5,394 students. Marshall H. and Margaret Alworth never had any children of their own but, through their generosity, created an enormous family of Alworth Scholars.

ALWORTH MEMORIAL FUND BROADENS SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA TO NOW INCLUDE NORTHERN MINNESOTA STUDENTS AT 2-YEAR COMMUNITY COLLEGES $12,000 College Transfer Pathway Scholarship https://www.alworthscholarship.org/collegetransfer.html Applications accepted until April 1, 2024, 11:59 PM Community college sophomores who complete an Associate of Science degree this spring are eligible to apply to receive $12,000 dollars to be distributed over four semesters ($3,000 per semester), providing they are enrolled full-time and plan to transfer to an accredited academic institution to complete a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in a mathematics, science, engineering or medical field of study.
