Introducing our final senior, number 44, John Ross McEvilly, better known as JR. Before enrolling at Georgia Tech, JR served our nation honorably as a member of the Navy, dedicating four years to the call of duty. Graduating with a Masters in Business Administration, he is poised to take his talents to Tampa, Florida, where he will serve as a General Manager in Environmental Services. Moreover, JR is a visionary entrepreneur, co-founding the Yup Clothing Company. JR’s favorite memory of his time at Georgia Tech is when he discovered that he could once again excel in competitive hockey. Congratulations, JR, and may your future endeavors be as bright as the impact you’ve made on all of us!

Introducing our next senior, we are proud to spotlight number 30, Dylan Yost. Dylan is from Peachtree City, Georgia, Dylan has been a dedicated member of our hockey team, as well as a standout student. Graduating with a Masters in Computer Science, Dylan will continue his journey as a software engineer at State Farm, where his passion for technology and innovation will will continue to grow. His fondest memory with the team was the thrilling victory over UGA in Athens, a testament to his love for the game and disdain for Georgia. Like a good neighbor, he has always been there for the team. Congratulations, Dylan, and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors as you continue to make us proud both on and off the ice!

Introducing #21, Alex Dubé. Alex is graduating with a BS in Materials Science and Engineering. Serving as Vice President and Alternate Captain, Alex’s leadership has been invaluable to our team’s success. His favorite memory of playing for GT hockey was beating FAU to secure a spot in the top 8 at nationals. As he graduates, Alex plans to continue his journey in Charlotte, working on the fiber optics team at Corning. Congratulations, Alex, and thank you for the countless hours you have put into this team on the ice and as a part of our student board!

Introducing our President, number 18, Declan Clougherty. From Candia, New Hampshire, Declan has been a cornerstone of our team’s leadership. Graduating with a BS in Business Administration, Declan has not only excelled academically but has also served as President and Alternate Captain of the team, guiding GT Hockey with integrity and passion. Congratulations Declan! Your leadership, dedication, and camaraderie have left a permanent mark on our team, and we wish you continued success as you embark on this new chapter back in New England.

Introducing our 2nd future graduate, Mat Quon. Hailing from Rose Valley, Pennsylvania, Mat was a huge addition to the team (literally) when he joined this year. Graduating with a Masters in Business Administration, his leadership and dedication have been unmatched. Mat’s favorite memory, team karaoke at Spankys after the Savannah Hockey Classic, embodies the camaraderie and spirit he brings to the team. As he graduates, Mat plans to continue his journey as COO and founder of his startup LZRD Tech. Congratulations, Mat, your contributions to our team and spirit have been invaluable, we look forward to witnessing your continued success as you pursue your future with LZRD Tech.

Starting our senior send-offs with our very own Captain #8 Zach Jacobson. Zach is from Ashburn, VA, where he came into GT pursuing a BS in Computer Science. After graduating, Zach is moving to Seattle where he will work at AWS as a Solutions Architect. Zach’s favorite memory playing for the team was beating FAU to secure a spot in the top 8 at nationals.
