Homemade Payday Candy Bars😍😍
Ingredients
Homemade payday candy bar requires just a few ingredients
1.3 cups salted peanuts
2.2 cups peanut butter chips
3.2 cups mini marshmallows
4.1 can sweetened condensed milk
5.3 tablespoons unsalted butter
6.½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Step 1: Place butter and peanut butter chips in a large saucepan and melt them over medium heat until you achieve a smooth consistency.
Step 2: Add condensed milk, vanilla extract and marshmallows to the melted butter-peanut butter mix. Stir until the mix is smooth and fully incorporated.
Step 3: Grease a 9×13-inch rectangular baking dish with butter or non-stick spray. Spread half of the peanuts across the baking dish
Step 4: Pour the mix from step 2evenly over the peanuts, and then sprinkle the remaining peanuts on top
Step 5: Refrigerate or let sit at room temperature until it sets. Cut candy into serving bars and enjoy.

Sweet Alabama Pecan Bread
Ingredients: 1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
4 eggs beaten
1 c oil
1 1/2 c self rising flour
1 tsp vanilla
2 c pecans, finely chopped
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. Using a wooden spoon, stir together sugar, brown sugar, eggs and oil in a medium bowl until smooth.
3. Stir in flour and vanilla. Add pecans, then stir until evenly mixed.
4. Spoon into prepared pan and bake 30-35 minutes.
Yields between 15-20 squares.

Butter Pecan Cake
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
1 cup (226g) unsalted butter
3 cups (333g) cake flour
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
1 cup (200g) light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups (354ml) buttermilk, room temperature preferred
2 large eggs, room temperature preferred
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ cups (160g) pecan halves, very finely chopped
For the Icing:
1 ½ cups (340g) unsalted butter, softened
6 oz cream cheese, softened
⅓ cup (66g) light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
4 ½ cups (562g) powdered sugar
1 Tablespoon heavy cream
⅓ cup (35g) pecan halves, very finely chopped, optional
Directions:
Brown the Butter: Melt butter over medium-low heat, then increase heat and cook until golden brown specks form. Cool completely.
Prepare the Cake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three 8-inch round baking pans.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together cake flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Combine with Butter: Add browned butter to dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.
Add Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla. Gradually add to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in chopped pecans.
Bake: Divide batter among prepared pans. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
Make the Icing: Beat butter, cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and heavy cream, beating until fluffy.

Butter Pecan Praline Poke Cake

Ingredients

1 (15 oz) box of butter pecan cake mix
1 (16 oz) can of coconut pecan frosting
4 large eggs
3/4 cup of vegetable or canola oil
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of finely chopped pecans

For the Sauce:

1 (14 oz) can of sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup of unsalted butter
1/2 cup of finely chopped pecans

Directions

Prepare for Baking:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Make the Cake Batter:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter pecan cake mix, coconut pecan frosting, eggs, oil, and milk.
Use an electric mixer to blend until smooth.
Fold in the chopped pecans.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Bake the Cake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Poke the Cake:
Once baked, remove from the oven and use the handle end of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
Prepare the Sauce:

Save this post and follow @kalejunkie for more! CRISPY GARLIC PARMESAN CRUSTED POTATOES are back and better this year and if there is one thing you make this holiday season, let it be THESE. This side dish is super simple to whip together and are pretty much the only way I want to eat potatoes—crispy, crunchy, soft in the middle and covered in the parmesan cheese. Eat straight from the tray or with a side of ketchup!⁣
⁣
Makes 6-8 servings⁣
1 lb mini yukon gold potatoes, halved⁣
2 tb olive oil⁣
1 tb dried parsley⁣
1 tb garlic powder⁣
1/2 tsp salt⁣
1/2 tsp ground black pepper⁣
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted⁣
1 1/2 cups freshly grated parmigiano reggiano ⁣
⁣
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Wash potatoes and cut them in half. Then, take a sharp knife and score them into a diamond shape. Transfer the potatoes to a large bowl and toss with olive oil, parsley, garlic powder and salt. Set aside. Next, grate the parmigiano reggiano cheese. Pour melted butter on top and mix until you get a thick paste. Transfer the mixture to a large baking dish and spread into an even layer. Take each potato half and press it into the cheese, cut side down. Repeat until all potatoes are in the dish. Bake for 25-26 minutes. Remove from the oven. Let the potatoes rest for 10 minutes so the cheese hardens and then take a spatula and remove from the pan. Break into pieces and enjoy!⁣

✨These are the best Iced Ginger Molasses Cookies!!

I truly can not get enough of them 🤤 and I’m not the only one, they are about to be your favorite cookie this holiday season❄️🫶🏼!! A crisp sugar coating on the outside, but so soft and chewy on the inside👏🏼. These cookies are packed with warm spices and a deep molasses flavor😋! 

Recipe👇🏼

Ingredients: (makes 12)
* 4 tbsp salted butter, room temp
* 1/4 cup granulated sugar (and some extra for rolling)
* 1/4 cup light brown sugar 
* 1 egg white
* 4 tbsp unsulphered molasses
* 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour 
* 1 1/4 tsp baking soda 
* 1 1/4 tsp ground ginger
* 1/4 tsp ground cloves
* 1/4 tsp ground allspice
Icing ingredients:
* 3/4 cup powdered sugar
* 1-2 tbsp heavy cream

Directions:
* Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. 
* In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in the egg white and then add the molasses and mix. 
* In another bowl whisk flour, baking soda, ginger, cloves, and allspice together. Add the dry ingredients into the wet, mix until combined
* Add a few tbsps of sugar to a small bowl, using a small cookie scoop drop the dough into the sugar. Roll it into a ball, place on the prepared baking sheet.
* Bake for 13-15 minutes, then allow to cool. 
* While waiting for the cookies to cool mix together the icing ingredients. 
* Drop the cookie in the icing and shake to let the excess drip off. 
* Enjoy!!
