Our Rotary club went out to the community to hand out snacks to our local kids in need! We were so happy to drop off lots of snacks and treats at Smithfield Middle School, South Smithfield Elementary School, and the Selma Boys and Girls Club. Thanks for all you guys do for our kids!! 🥳

Dr. Brittany “B” McCoy is a Mom, Wellness and transformation Coach, Entrepreneur, Keynote speaker, and two-time #1 international bestselling author.

Dr. McCoy is a graduate of Methodist University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry and double minored in Spanish and Mathematics. She completed her Doctorate in Pharmacy and Masters in Business Administration degrees at High Point University in North Carolina.

Dr. B. McCoy ditched the traditional ways of embarking on a career to pave her path using her unique experiences and skills to start her own business working with clients and combining a holistic approach to personalized care. She is the founder of the McCoy Institute of Wellness.

Last Saturday, our club hosted and served a dinner for the residents of The Caring House in Durham, NC! The Caring House provides comfortable, supportive, and affordable housing to Duke Cancer Institute adult outpatients and their caregivers. Thank you for all you do and it was our pleasure to provide this meal! :)

The Rotary E-Club 7710 Service Project will be providing dinner for all 25 people at the Caring House for patients from Duke Cancer Institute on October 17th, 2023 at 6pm. The Caring House provides these patients with peace of mind through affordable housing, a healing environment, and a positive and supportive community.

This past Saturday, we partnered with the Rotary Club of Central Johnston and had a beautiful event to recognize and remember those who lost their lives due to 9/11. We were honored with firefighter, emt, and police officer attendance, while also being joined by Mayor Pro-Tem John Dunn, Former Ms. Smithfield and Current Ms. Oak Teen - Kaylee Stavlos, District Governor of our E-Club - Veronica Bent, Congressman Wiley Nickel, other members of the rotary club, and volunteers serving their community. THANK YOU for your service to our community's heroes and we will never forget those who lost there lives due to 9/11! Big shout-out to our secretary, Doris Wallace, and other members of our rotary club for helping to get this event together. Another shout-out and THANK YOU to our sponsors; Chik-Fil-A, Gotham's Deli, Stevens Sausage Co., and Coates Hearing Clinic. Here is a video of the beautiful event.
