EVENING.....WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH
LATE THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow
accumulations of up to one inch. For the Winter Storm Watch,
heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow accumulations of
up to two inches and ice accumulations of up to a quarter of an
inch possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...East Puget Sound Lowlands from Snohomish County to
Pierce County, including Arlington, Gold Bar, Duvall,
Snoqualmie, Buckley, and Eatonville.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 7 PM PST this
evening. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Thursday morning
through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the
ice. Travel could be nearly impossible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow showers will linger into this evening
before tapering off tonight. Additional snow and freezing rain
is expected Thursday, especially for areas near the Cascade
gaps, such as North Bend and Gold Bar.
