Each week since late April my mom has planted 500 sunflowers for us. This should give us a steady stream of Sunflowers all season. So far we have harvested maybe 40 stems total? In theory we should have hundreds of Sunflowers ready to go right now but it’s the season of a rolling with the punches and religiously checking the Sunflower patch trying to figure out why more aren’t ready yet 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have my theories as to why but at the end of the day we’re at the mercy of Mother Nature so it is what it is. Anywho, I tucked those first stems into these gorgeous bouquets and sent them to @egrfarmersmarket with mama bear this morning. We’re there from 8:30-1 with some great vendors.
