Michigan State Women's Club Soccer
2012 and 2015 National Champions!
Our season comes to a heartbreaking end with a 0-1 loss to Vanderbilt.
Thank you our seniors Paige Buranosky and Brynna Gorsline for everything they have given to the team both on and off the field. Two great players, two amazing people.
0-0 at the half.
We've carried possession but didn't create any chances.
Onto the Elite 8 at 5pm behind this game winner by Emily Woods!
Emily Woods puts one between the keepers legs for the OT win!!!
We will play Vanderbilt at 5:00pm.
0-0 at the end of regulation.
Two 10 min. overtime periods.
0-0 at the half.
Ally Maloney with a huge PK save in the last second of the hAlf to keep it level.
We "win" the shootout and will now face UNC in the 10:05 am in the Round of 16.
Game ends 1-1. Due to a ridiculous rule, and poor planning, we will ccome back tomorrow morning, 30 minutes before game time to take penalties against the exact same team we just played. We are both here and warm, but let's go home and finish it tomorrow.
The winner of the shootout has to then turn around and play at 10am. The loser goes back to their hotel and doesn't play again until 1pm. Makes sense...
1-1 with 8 to go
Ella Antcliff!!!! 1-0 MSU with 3 to go in the half!

Help MSUWCS get to Nationals!
The team has received an automatic bid to the collegiate club soccer national championship tournament in Austin, TX. As a completely self-funded team, we could use some help offsetting the travel costs for attending.

Couldn't be more proud of this team! No coach today and they get two wins in Regional group play.
They move on to face UM in the regional semi final Sunday morning at 9am at Spartan Greens!
This weekend we have the opportunity to host the W-MASC Regional Championships for the first time!
However, we do so with heavy hearts. This week, sophomore forward Emily Woods lost her father who passed away unexpectedly. Emily, with the entire team behind her, will play to honor her father, Bob Woods, who loved nothing more than watching Emily play the game she loves.
If you have some time on Saturday, stop by Spartan Greens to join Emily, and the entire Woods family in honoring Bob as the team competes for a Regional Championship.
Hopefully, our celebration of Bob will continue into Sunday with potential games at 9am and 12pm.
If you would like to donate to a college fund that has been set up for Emily and her sister, Abby, please follow the link below.
