As many in the law enforcement community, our hearts continue to be heavy after the tragedy that occurred involving the Dallas Police Department, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), and the Dallas community. It especially hit home for one of our officers, Officer Dwyane Jones, who previously worked for the Dallas Police Department. To pay respects on behalf of the Michigan State University Police Department, Officer Dwayne Jones and Officer Matt Dropping, a member of the MSU PD Honor Guard Unit, attended the funeral services of the fallen officers in Dallas.
