It's been almost 7 months since my last post..I've been going through a lot that I'm not really ready to talk about here.. but I'm back at it! Here's my latest projects! Not quite done yet, but it feels so good to be painting furniture again!

I'm still painting! It's been walls lately, but there will be furniture coming soon!!

It's not quite finished, but I couldn't wait to show it off!! What do ya think?

This really is way more fun than I thought it was going to be!! Wood floor in the main area and bedroom goes in tomorrow!!!

I've learned something this week about paint. First door is done with a matching paint and primer set by a very reputable company. The second pic a door finished with 2 very different brands of paint, both very reputable as well. The primer on the first door had some kind of chemical reaction to the paint causing it to crackle. That same paint over a different primer came out good, but was a shinier finish than I wanted. So it pays to do a test piece, because you just never know what's gonna happen!!

For those that were asking to see the crackled finish.. I will not be bringing crackle back. Lmao

Well this is where I'm at and I'm stuck. I can't finish the cabinet doors because no matter what I do the finish keeps crackling! The paint I used went on beautifully using my PPG gripper primer on these press board boxes, but when I used the primer that is made to go with said paint on these cabinet doors it crackles. It's starting to look like I gotta strip the 2 top cabinet doors and start over..

It's starting to look like a construction zone one here! I'm loving it!!

I've been in a strange place mentally for quite some time now.. but I'm back, and in the next few weeks I'll be working on something BIG! Like literally, I'm remodeling a 30ft travel trailer! Thank you to everyone who's stuck around! I can't wait to share my progress with you!
