A bit of garland and ornament fun today!!! 😍

My dad builds - well everything.

But this is a very special piece. My brother told my dad it would be really nice to have a piece of furniture built by him… so he is building a dresser for him and this is the side of the top drawer… lasered by me but all the love, care, skill and memory will be our fathers. I couldn’t be more proud to have such a talented dad to learn from and to come from a family who appreciates it. ❤️

My lovely neighbor and friend asked if I could make this for her tree, as she is a huge fan.

These will be available in my Etsy store because maybe someone else wants a memory of Chandler/Matthew Perry they can put up as well.

(As a note: I am very proud of my work and how this turned out but I do NOT want to grossly profit off someone’s passing, so I am researching local non-profit substance abuse orgs to donate to in Matthew Perry’s memory as a result of the sale of these in my shop.)

It’s been a while since I’ve been at it but wanted to share this gorgeous cutting board!! I had the pleasure to create this for a dear friend of mine. And of course, we couldn’t leave out her beloved Rottweiler in the family logo! ❤️❤️❤️

I love making things that require careful planning and well thought out processes to achieve what looks perhaps simple or elegant. This sign completed, has 8 pieces in just the scripted font name. That’s the same as entire frame and background combined but creates a beautifully layered look on the final piece worth all the digital template making beforehand.

These were cut from the same sheet of 3/4” plywood last year. I don’t pre-buy my rounds or ovals, but cut them myself so I can make virtually any size. Then I route the edge and sand the faces and edges with 3 different grit sandpapers to create a more refined piece; not to mention it takes stains, aging agents and paints better when properly prepared!
