In the fast few years I have hit 2 bats and a bird (all time the contact point was my head). The most resent bat was with out a face shield and the contact was the face... 1st yuck!!! 2nd there is a case being built for wearing a helmut with a face shield.... we'll see :-)

Shopping for a new jacket. I love the market for "weathered" jackets.... I find if you just ride your bike in all types of weather you will get the "weathered" jacket result. ;-)
